Pet-tek Products Proving Their Value to Pet Store Owners

Over the past 3 months I have been working closely with our local Global Pets in Leduc, AB. We have developed a standard store setup as well as training materials to educate their staff. All of our efforts have been to maximize profitability while ensuring that the customer walks out of the store with the best product for their pet at an affordable price.

Educating the staff helps to make sure that the customer purchases the right pet supplement the first time, saving the customer time and money.

The owners of Global Pets in Leduc have said that having a standard store setup shows the customer that they have confidence in our products, instilling in those customers that they are buying a high quality pet supplement at an affordable price.

Over the past year Global Pets has been continually increasing the amount of Pet-tek supplements that they carry due to high customer demand. They started with our Re Gen line and have added all the new products we have released. They now carry the full Pet-tek line of supplements.

Pet-tek products are available in more than 400 retail outlets in Canada. Now that we have seen the success of the model in Leduc, we will be offering to implement the same program in all the stores. This will ensure that customers all over the country are receiving the same high level of service when they go to buy their favorite Pet-tek products.

Another Victory for Pet-tek Wild Salmon Oil

About two months ago while visiting my in-laws, I noticed their 12 year-old toy poodle named Skye was losing her coat and what was left was turning grey. Skye was in really rough shape. They had taken her to the vet to get her teeth cleaned and fixed but were told there was not much they could do about her coat and skin issues, as she is getting older.

When I asked what she was eating they told me she had almost completely stopped eating her dog food and was only eating table scraps and rice cereal. The reason for the coat and skin issues were obvious and simply due to a lack of proper nutrition.

I offered them a bottle of our Pet-tek Wild Salmon Oil and explained how it would help to restore Skye’s coat and bring her color back. I also suggested that they find a new dog food that Skye would eat. They took my advice and thanked me.

Last night I stopped by their place and when I opened the door this dog came running to the back door barking and dancing around. When my wife said "Hi Skye" I could not believe my eyes. Skye had a full coat and her color was a warm apricot . She looked healthy and much younger.

As with anyone who has a product that they believe in, I am amazed at the results of our Pet-tek Wild Salmon Oil on both dogs and cats.

Hair Loss, Coat discoloration and Hot Spots in Dogs and Cats

Everyday I am asked for advice from pet owners on how to best supplement their pets. The second most asked question is my dog or cat is loosing his/her coat what can I do to stop this? My reply is always the same; I ask them a list of questions and then identify the cause of the issue and suggest possible remedies.

Hair loss and coat discoloration are two of the most common problems that bring dogs and cats to their local animal hospital. There are a number of reasons for hair loss and coat discoloration; the more common ones can be diagnosed by just asking yourself few simple questions. How old is the pet? Is this common for the breed? What has changed in your pet’s environment? Have you changed their food or diet? How often is your dog or cat bathed and with what? Asking your self these simple questions can help to diagnose the coat and/or discoloration issues your dog or cat is having. Then when you have answered these questions and you have narrowed it down to the cause, use the Internet and other reference materials available to come up with possible treatments for the causes. In some cases it will be as simple as you changed their food and the new one does not contain the essential nutrients they need. Or just like our skin, your pets skin will dry out in winter and they may need a food supplement like Wild Salmon Oil or other products naturally high in Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.

Although most skin and coat issues can be easily diagnosed and treated with food supplements, some may require a consultation with your vet.
